For those following the Abraham Cherrix story, two promising stories were published this week updating his condition.
Elizabeth Simpson reported in the Virginian-Pilot that the Chincoteague teenager with lymphoma is feeling better, which he attributes to a new integrative approach to his cancer. He’s combining radiation therapy with immunotherapy, directed by Mississippi oncologist Dr. Arnold Smith. According to WTKR in Virginia, Dr. Smith commented that “the teen’s tumor is shrinking and that he’s gaining energy and stamina.” We’re all hoping the progress continues.
